After eight seasons it's official, I don't love watching American Idol auditions. I feel so bad for the crazy people. I can't stand the way they interview them and make them think they are all that and then openly mock them on public television. It just isn't nice. I will just have to wait a couple more weeks for the good stuff to begin!

Some of the people deserve to be mocked, but I watched Tuesday's auditions, and I agree, a lot of them have no self-awareness and it's just mean for the producers to put them through to see the judges.
Amy I felt the same way. They don't have to be so mean!! They could say "Sorry singing isn't for you," or simply give a no. But they don't need to tell them that they sound like a cat falling of the Empire State Building; that is a little too harsh and they should consider how impressionable some of these people might be and that they really care about what they have to say. Anyway, the rest of the show is great. I look forward to the singing.
I agree. I just want to watch the good ones. Not see others made fun of. It seems like everyone justifys being rude as being honest today and it is so frustrating.
