I have to say...I love Christmas, but I love it most when it is over. The decorations are put away, the fattening foods are eaten or thrown out, and the kids are back in school. Normal life has returned! Here are some of our memories.
StitchesIt wouldn't truly be the holidays with out a trip to the ER. Adi was jumping on the bed over Thanksgiving and cut her eye-lid open. After 5 hours in the Emergency Room on Thanksgiving Eve, she got the notorious superglue stitches. No more monkeys jumping on the bed!
Making Pretzels
I remember doing this every year growing up. We have done it several years in a row with my kids too. THEY LOVE IT and always use TONS of sprinkles.

LOOK AT ALL THOSE SPRINKLES!

I love this picture. The one on the bottom that looks like it could be brown is really just covered in so many different colored sprinkles that you can no longer see the candy coating. YUM!
Lights at Temple SquareWe had a Party at my Dad's house and then all went to see the lights. There are no pictures of the party since I locked my camera and my KEYS inside the van. Two hours later after braking into the van and searching it with a flashlight, I found my keys in the coat pocket I had been wearing the whole time! Note to self...before braking into your locked car, check your pockets!

Carson refused to be in this picture. I look huge! I was trying to stay warm with layers.

Grandpa Williams, Craig, Jen, and Logan came too.

As you can see, Carson was a gem.
Christmas Party at Grandma Knight's
Four Generations! My mom gives all the girls a "pampering sack" every year. They are filled with jewelry, perfume, lipstick, and all things girl. Adi LOVED hers!!!!

The boys got swords from Grandma. Davis was an animal! Looks like he gets it from his Dad.

Carson was really sweet and wanted to help Grandma put on her new watch.
Lights at Williard Bay
We went to Willard Bay, drove through all the lights, visited Santa, and tried to stay warm by the fire. It is one of my favorite yearly traditions.

Davis was not happy or excited to see Santa. At one point he looked at me with the saddest face. He wanted to be brave, but his face said he wasn't going to make it.

Adi changed her mind on what she wanted for Christmas every time she saw Santa, looked at the mail, or walked into Walmart. At this point she is asking Santa for a new computer of her own. She got a Barbie House. Rotten luck, but she was still thrilled.

Santa told Bennett to clean his room before Christmas Eve. Thanks Santa!

I love this face. He was so excited to see Santa this year. He is at the perfect age that makes Christmas time so fun and magical!
Chillin' at Home
Davis is so excited to go help Daddy shovel snow. He loves his Dad.

Adi and I made fudge while the boys were out playing. I am so glad to have a daughter to do fun girly things with. This was my first time making fudge and it turned out SOOOO YUMMY!
We had a wonderful Christmas.
