Bennett was standing in the baby swing out on the swing set, and fell out about a week ago. He got the wind knocked out of him and complained about his wrist hurting so he came inside and spent 3 hours "resting" on the couch. Those of you who know Bennett know that three hours of stillness is not normal. I made an appointment to take him to the doctor later that day, but as we waited for the time to come he started to get more "mobile" and went back outside to play. After watching him ride his bike, fall off the skate board, and jump from the swing set to the tramp and then back to the ground, I decided his arm was probably fine and cancelled the appointment.
Three days later he kept begging me for a coke. I do not let my children drink coke, so I told him if he could beat me in an arm wrestle, he could have one. When I held his right hand to arm wrestle, he wouldn't even grip my fingers, stating that his wrist hurt too bad. What? So I took him strait to the doctor and sure enough, his wrist was cracked and too swollen to cast. I FELT SOOOOOOOO BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!! He has a temporary splint now and we go back to the doc Monday for another X-ray.
In other news, I found this awesome link on my friend Amanda's blog called hair4myprincess.blogspot.com. Anyone with a little girl should check this site out. There are some hair-dues I would never attempt, but several great ones too. This was Adi's fancy hair for Easter that I actually copied from Amber in my ward. I didn't get pictures until the next morning so it is a little messy, but was fast and fun! We did three pull throughs on the top, two in the back and pulled it all into a messy bun.

What CUTE hair!! I love how you did three piggy things up front!! It turned out really cute! That's sad about Bennet's arm, but luckily you found it when you did. Some kids are just SO hard to read!!! Also, thanks for the great new hair website!! I love getting NEW ideas!
Poor Bennett. Don't feel like you were a bad mom for waiting to go to the Dr. though. I broke my wrist when I was five and we didn't make it to the doctor until the next day when I couldn't use that hand to open the door because it hurt too bad to turn the handle. Sometimes it just takes a while to figure that stuff out!!!
Oh! Poor Bennett! Thanks for the cool link! I'll have to check it out. Now if I can just get Brooklyn to sit still to do ANYTHING with her hair that will be the trick!
