Sugar!

Creatas Images Single Image Set

Thomas was out of town this weekend, and I had to make a trip to the grocery store. I decided to take all four of the kiddies and be in and out as quick as possible. Isn't it torturous taking children to the store? Anyway, we were almost done. I needed chocolate chips and some produce. I headed down the chocolate chip isle, proud of my children and their impressive behavior. As I looked at the chocolate chips and a few other near by items, a woman walked by me and said out loud, "how disgusting". A few seconds later another woman walked by me and let out a disapproving "Oh". I quickly looked for my boys, and there they were, LICKING the bags of sugar in attempt to taste those few little granules of sugar that had escaped each bag. TALK ABOUT EMBARRASSED!

Lessons learned:
1. NEVER take children that can't fit in the cart to the grocery store.
2. Start taking things from the back of the shelves because let's face it, that really is disgusting!
3. Never judge a mother for her unruly children's behavior in the grocery store. She probably gave them the "don't you dare" lecture before they came in, but forgot to add licking to the list!

That is so funny! Kids do funny things. One time Tony and I were at the store before we had kids and one lady was very frustrated with hers and she said "kids are so stupid" well we were like how could she say such a thing. Then we had kids of our own and we have often said to each other (not the kids)in memory of that day "kids are so stupid"

I love it!! If I saw that I think I would just start laughing for our creative the kids were!! I would've never thought to put that in my "don't you dare" lecture! Also the TV thing is CLASSIC!! We don't feel it necessary to spend big $$$ on TV's either. We have just been lucky to be in the right situations and buy both of the TV's we have for $50 from people, otherwise all we'd have is a 13 inch TV too!!!
