I dropped my camera at the water park last week and it shattered into a thousand peices. So, since I can not post pictures of my adorable family, I thought I would share some fun mommy moments that have happened to me in the recent past.
1. While gathering laundry, I discovered a 16 oz. sour cream container in the corner behind the dirty clothes hamper in Bennett and Carson's room. I expected to find rotten sour cream when I opened the container, but instead found 16 ounces of dead bugs. Boys are so disgusting.
2. I was watching cartoons with Adi and she informed me she was thristy. I told her to go get her sippy cup that was on the counter. When she came back down stairs her hands were behind her back and she had a mischievious grin on her face. When I asked her what was behind her back she produced two ice cream sandwhiches, which she had been sneaky enough to get out of the freezer without me knowing. When she saw the disapproving look on my face, she quickly stated that she got one for each of us because we were very bestest friends. It was totally manipulative but two cute to be upset about so we broke all the rules and ate ice cream on the couch while we watched the movie.
3. I took the kids to buy new shoes for school. I had no idea that it would take over an hour for two boys to find tennis shoes that they liked. Adi had a blast trying on shoes as she waited. When the boys finally decided on the shoes, we started cleaning up to go. Another mom was on our same isle and had a child who started crying about something. I didn't pay much attention but Bennett did. He told me that the older brother had thrown the little brother's toy under the shoe rack and that he(Bennett) had tried to get it for the little boy but couldn't reach it. So we found a hanger and Bennett swiped the toy out from under the shelf and saved the day! What a good kid.
4. In case you haven't already noticed, our four children's names start with the first four letters of the alphabet--Adi, Bennett, Carson, and Davis. We didn't do it on purpose until Davis was born. Then I mostly used it as an excuse to get Thomas to agree on the name Davis because I loved it so much. Anyway, Carson came up to me the other day and asked me what we were going to name our "Z" baby. Thank goodness we won't have to worry about that one.
Well I could go on and on but I won't. Hopefully the box cameras that I used to take pictures of our family vacation last week will turn out and I can post lots of fun pictures soon!

What fun things you have taken note of. I need to notic ethose sweet cute things more often.
You are not alone! My children are currently saving about 1 cup's worth of snail shells they found in the yard. They each have a ziploc sandwich bag and I think they are planning to add to it and have a Snail Shell Collection. I guess I'm just glad they're only collecting the shells.
