My sister lives in Texas and came out for our family reunion on the 4th of July. We had so much fun while she was here! I hate that she lives so far away. Here were some of our adventures---
Heritage DaysSyracuse has a parade, carnival, and fireworks each year. My dad and sisters came with us to all three events. We had a blast until the fireworks where the children were crying in unison and the mosquitoes could not be deterred even by large amounts of bug spray. Gotta love that Great Salt Lake!

Davis was in heaven!

There is no better stress relief than throwing a ball and dunking your children. They love it, it makes you feel better, and it is worth every penny.

Love Carson's face in this picture. He looks so much like his Daddy.

Three cute cousins. Andrew (Jennifer's), Davis, and Avree (Kathleen's)

My boys climbed this about ten times each. They LOVE to rock climb!
Shaekespearian Festival
My handsome and extremely talented brother Craig is in the Green Show this summer. He performs every day but Sunday and couldn't come home to see Kathleen, so we made a quick trip to Cedar City. Davis spiked a temperature of 104 a few hours before we left, so Thomas ended up staying home with all three boys. (Thanks babe!) It was fun to spend some one on one time with my cute little Adi girl. What would I do without her? Davis was tested for every flu and bacteria under the sun and came back negative on all accounts. Guess he just had a weird virus. Craig's show was so fun and he did an amazing job, as always.

Hello Amy, look at the camera. Poor Drew does not love pictures. We took ALL the grandchildren to Target for pics and he made this face in most of them. Adi was also a gem. She did not smile at Target either. She smiled cute for these pics though.

Love you Craig! Miss you already.
Spring FlingSyracuse Elementary had a spring fling this year and it brought back so many memories. Each grade performed a dance. Bennett's 2nd grade class danced to Rockin' Robin and Carson's kindergarten class danced to Splish Splash. They were so fun to watch.

Bennett is dancing with the little girl in the bright orange shirt. Note the look of concern on his face. His partner was not there that day and his teacher told him to dance with this little girl who is apparently his friend's girlfriend. I'm not sure about girl friend's in second grade, but I love the look on his face. Should I hold her hand or shouldn't I?

Shy little Carson was so nervous to go to school the day of the Spring Fling, that he pretended to throw up beore school. Too bad his mom is not easy to fake out. I was relieved to see him smiling as he danced.
4th of July Reunion
Grandma Doris and Adi Doris. We love you grandma!

Homemade popsicles. Yum! Davis is SO blonde. Bennett used to be that way when he was about that age too.

Lots of cousins, and lots of water balloons. So much fun!

Playing washu. I would like to mention that I took 4th place in our annual tournament, which may not sound that great, but I beat Thomas which is all that matters.

FIREWORKS and glow sticks. It doesn't get much better than that!
Water Park
Adi is a water animal. She loves it and is my only child that never complains about being cold even when her lips are blue and she is shaking.

Davis would not set a toe in the water until Thomas met us after work. After five minutes he was going down slides, splashing around, and floating with dad. Not fair. Why do kids always give mom crap? Dad is the one that deserves it most right?

As you can see, cute little Avree broke her leg. She fell off the bed while we were in Cedar City. I felt so bad for her (and her mom). She is such a cutie.

I'm so glad Avree only has a leg cast and not a body cast....I'm sure it will heal just dandy. But it made for a crazy weekend! Missed seeing you. We will FOR SURE catch up in August.
It looks like you guys are having a very fun summer! And you have re-motivated me to take my camera everywhere. Do you remember our girls trip to the Shakespearean Festival? Good times!
I'm so jealous that you went to the Roy Aquatic Center. We were already to go last week but the forecast said rain, so we went to Clearfield instead. Miss you. Is your August busy?
adorable pictures. Be sure to get them printed and put in a book. YOU ARE THE BEST with picture taking. xoxoxoxo mom
