Adilynn is Four!!!

Adi turned four last week and had a fun birthday! I can't believe she is four!!!

Adi had a small nervous brake down when her brothers blew out her birthday candles before she could have a chance. Of course we had to re-light them and sing again. The boys were quickly forgiven when they gave Adi her gifts. Polly pockets and barbie books will soften any little girl's heart!

Disclaimer: The red parrot on the shelf behind me was purchased with Carson's allowance at the Secret Santa Shop at his elementary school. He proudly gave it to me for Christmas and I will display it forever since he spent every penny he had on me, saving nothing for the rest of the family, and saying when he saw it he just had to buy it for me because he knew I would love it. (:

Adi wanted to have a tea party with some neighbor girls for her birthday. We made cupcakes with pink sprinkles, peanut butter and honey sandwiches cut into heart shapes, and Doritos (Adi's favorite). Then we made lots of punch which the girls got to pour from several play tea pots into their own tea cups. Adi was in heaven!
All the girls came in dress ups. Adi has many play dresses, but loves this one the best. It was mine when I was little. My parents bought it for me in Mexico when I was five. I think she likes it so much because she knows it was mine. So sweet!

After Adi's party we went to the park. Every night at dinner we go around the table and take turns telling everyone what part of the day was our favorite. Every night, rain or shine, whether we went to the park or not, Adi tells us her favorite part of the day was going to the park. SHE LOVES THE PARK, so we had to go on her special day. Thank goodness the weather cooperated!

Thomas came home shortly after we returned from the park and surprised Adi with flowers. She loves flowers and always wants to go through the floral section of the grocery store. She was so excited!

Girl are so much fun! I am so thankful for my sweet daughter!

She is so cute and I am so glad you have her to do all those girly things with. What woudl life be like without little girl tea parties and barbie pools?
