I'm sure he will be a chatter box in no time, and start spouting out demands rather than quietly raising his hand. I think part of the reason for the nodding and hand raising could be because he is totally attached to his binki. He would have it in 24/7 if I would let him. If he was my first child I would try to only let him have it at nap time, or start taking it away completely. But, as a "seasoned" mother, I don't really care. It is like the mute button on the TV. Oh, you're sad let's find your binki, plug you up, and keep you quiet. How did I ever survive my other non-binki children?

Man of few words
Davis is 16 months old and prefers to raise his hand or nod his head when asked a question. The first time he did this I thought it was so cute! I asked who wanted some crackers and he leaned his head to the side and raised his hand up on his head. SO CUTE and so polite!

Owen was my fussy baby he would cry all the time but never once would he take a binki or bottle it was so frustrating I couldn't even plug him. I think I bought every kind of binki there is to try but he wanted nothing to do with them. :(
The hand-raising is cute. Love it!
I love it! Binkis are the best! I loved my binki girl and wish that Zachary would take binkis! It's the pit when they are upset and you can't just plug them up!
Kinsey never would take a binki. She got plugged up by getting nursed, but since we stopped that in January she has started thumb and finger sucking.
If I had my way, all three of my kids would still have a binky.
I also love the bink. That's pretty funny that he raises his hand.
What a cute little guy!
oh and I meant to include...I tried and tried with the binki, but neither of my kids would take it...maybe next time?!!?
Davis is so adorable :) xoxo mk
