I have been bad at posting lately. I have been busy canning grape juice, applesauce, and jam. Today I sealed jar #51. My kitchen is a disaster and I am so sick of fruit it will take a month or two for me to even want to eat any of it. But, it is coming to an end, I hope. And, my kids will love me when we are eating toast with jam and drinking grape juice.

As many of you know, Davis has a lot of ear infections. We have finally decided to put tubes in and have the surgery scheduled for November 13th, his birthday. It was that or wait until December. So happy birthday to Davis--no more ear infections we hope. Anyway, along with those ear infections have come many sleepless nights and sortened nap times. This particular day I decided to let him cry himself to sleep at nap time. After about 20 minutes I peeked in the door to check on him and found him like this! I felt too bad to leave him like that, so after a quick picture I helped him lay back and luckily he slept for two hours! YEAH! I love nap time.

Hey!!! He is so cute, and I hope his surgery goes well. Poor little guy. Oh, and by the way, I totally have left over belly, it's just all tucked in with this little brace they gave me to help me heal:) and my feet are still swollen, and the only reason I didn't have a wheel chair was because we left with this other couple, and she didn't want one, so I didn't want to look like a whimp!!! Ha ha. Oh man, I love being a mom, Amy. I seriously cry every day looking at her. She has such a strong spirit about her. I am so thankful she is healthy and safe, I have never loved someone so much in my life! Thanks for teaching me so many tricks. She had some nasty gas today, and I did that thing where you push their legs up to their belly, and she LOVED it! She just looked so relieved! I can't wait for her to meet you!!!
